States’ Rights Legislation from Georgia First and Ray McBerry

by Ron Davis on November 15, 2009

In Ray McBerry’s run for governor, he’s been talking about some States’ Rights legislation.  Ray told me tonight that the state and individual sovereignty legislation on the Georgia First web site is being pre-filed in the General Assembly on Monday. The legislation will be pre-filed by Bobby Franklin, a Republican from Cobb County.

Those pieces of legislation, as listed on the Georgia First web site, are:

  • Freedom of Choice & Security
  • Constitutional Tender Act
  • Right to Travel Act
  • Citizens’ Constitutionality Challenge
  • Defense of the Home Act
  • Freedom From Compulsory Pandemic Act
  • State Authority and Intrastate Commerce Act
  • State Authority and Deposit Security Act
  • State Authority and Anti-Racketeering Act
  • State Authority and Federal Tax Fund Act

McBerry has this TV commercial online about these bills:

You go Ray! I’ll be contributing to your campaign as we go into the election season.

The above list is typical of the far right wackos that run with McBerry. It is a pipe dream to think any of that stuff would pass or that it would be recongnized by the federal courts.

Hello Ray,
The Left likes to use the phrase, “speaking truth to power,” but you are actually doing it. Regardless of the seeming hopelessness of regaining our freedom, you have actually begun the process.
Thank you.
