Weekend Reading, Volume 23

by Ron Davis on March 16, 2012

I’ve got lots of good links for your weekend reading enjoyment this week. And several are videos, so it’s a little more weekend watching than weekend reading, but still, it’s all good info to have.

I’ve now got a Facebook page for Uphold Liberty. I’d appreciate a “like” on that, if you feel so inclined.

My friend Chris sent me this video that details what the GOP delegate count really looks like. It’s actually from last week, but the information in the video is great.

Daniel Mitchell gives a rundown of the latest political jokes. Take some time to laugh; people who take politics too seriously are people nobody wants to be around.

This is a great piece from Time on the alleged secret Romney/Paul alliance. There are some things about that I like and some other things I don’t like. Still, it’s an interesting thing to think about.

A Georgia businessman has been threatened with fines and possible jail time for flying an American flag outside his business. He’s standing his ground, as he should.

My friend Jason shared this video about the role that federal housing policy had in the financial crisis. Take the time to watch that video. It’ll be 6 of the best minutes of your day.

Rick Santorum says you should vote for Ron Paul if you want someone with a conservative voting record. Wow…it’s something Santorum said that I agree with.

Speaking of Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich has adopted Paul’s foreign policy for Afghanistan.

Finally, this one hit pretty close to home – literally. Paudling County police have arrested 21 stupid teens who defaced the high school just a few miles from my home. High school friends will come and go, but mug shots are forever.

If you find any good links during the week that you think should be included in these Weekend Reading links, feel free to send them my way. You can reach me at: ron [at] uphold liberty [dot] org.
